Mission:
The Sickle Cell Foundation of Greater Montgomery, Inc. River Region is dedicated to providing education, screening, counseling and outreach services to individuals with Sickle Cell Disease, Sickle Cell Trait and other abnormal hemoglobins. The Foundation has a deep-rooted commitment to making strides in monitoring the occurrence of Sickle Cell Anemia, improving the quality of life for those with the disease and cooperating with individuals and agencies conducting research.
How You Can Help:
Donate blood. Blood drives are so important to saving lives within the Sickle Cell community. These transfusions are essential for people with sickle cell disease, reducing stroke risk, supporting organ health and improving quality of life.
