Ira Verbois, Executive Director

“Service Dogs of Alabama trains more than PTSD and mobility dogs. We also train Autism Awareness and seizure-alert dogs. It doesn’t matter if the person has a physical, emotional or medical issue, our dogs allow them to gain independence in their life again. And that’s the most rewarding part of my job: seeing how working with our dogs, recipients’ lives are changed.”
