Mission:

Meals on Wheels Montgomery AL Metro Area’s mission is to assist senior citizens by providing services to promote independent living, offering opportunities to enhance their quality of life and by increasing community awareness of senior issues.

BACKGROUND:

Meals on Wheels ensures older adults who are 60 and older, live alone and are unable to prepare their own meals remain safe, healthy, happy and independent in their homes. One in six older adults do not know where their next meal will come from. Meals on Wheels delivers homebound neighbors a hot, nutritious lunchtime meal directly to their doorsteps Monday through Friday.
